The Arliona Wranglers,- most widely known and "humanest" of the nation's radio entertainers, will make a personal appearance at the Grand theatre here Sunday and Monday, August 7 and S. The Arizona "Wranglers and the Sheriff, beard regular over radio station, KNX. Hollywood, will make this city a stopover on their summer's personal tour of the coast, and will be seen in several stage performances here. The entire troup will be on hand. The Sheriff,, whose real name Is Loyal Underwood, will be master of ceremonies in their stage performances. Uncle Iron Tail, Dynamjte, Nubbins. Sleepy, Hungry Shorty and Slicker will all be on hand and will give- their inimitable renditions of the popu lar old ballads of the west. Musi cal numbers, wisecracks and a col lection of their best radio stunts will be presented. The' coast tour of the Arizona Wranglers is more than an ordin ary event. They will be given motorcycle escort between every city in California and special cere monies will great them In each town. Their appearance here will also bring coastwide publicity for Sa lem. For many days preceding their visit, KNX will broadcast the announcement from Holly wood of the Wranglers plans for tkis city. Real westerners from the plains, these performers got their start playing and singing for Sat urday night dances in small Ariz ona towns. Though they were giv en their big chance with KNX and made a go of it, they are still the same lovable, rowdy crew that first invaded Hollywood with their musical Instruments over their shoulders and dust on their high heel boots.
