She carried Talis man roses and was attended by her grandmother, Mrs. P. E. Slusher, and by her mother Mrs. Charles L. Tucker of Monte Vista, Colorado. A wedding dinner was served after the ceremony at the Campbell Court hotel. Miss Slusher is a member of the music faculty of the Oregon Nor mal school. She is a graduate of the Normal, also of the Univer sity of Oregon, where she was af filiated with Kappa Kappa Gam ma. She is province president of Phi Beta, national musical soror ity; and secretary of the North west Music Teachers' association. She also is a member of the P. E. O. sisterhood. Mr. Maaske is a son of Mrs F. H. Maaske of Bertrand, Neb He is a graduate of the Univer sity of Nebraska, and affiliated with Pi Kappa Phi social frater nity. The meeting took the form of a round table discussion of prob lems concerning on which Salem officers wanted help. About 22 officers were present for the very enjoyable meeting. Then they re turned and spent the past week at Agate Beach. Plans had been made for spending the weekend there but rain spoiled golf so they came home by wayof the Roose velt highway to Florence. Bridge Club Closes Its Season One of the attractive affairs of the week was the last meeting for the "Ever Ready" bridge elub which met at the home of Mrs. Nellie Harris Friday afternoon. The affair was a dessert lunch eon and as a surprise for Mrs Harris the ' guests came In cos tume, each attempting to be as funny as possible. The result ac cording to report was very suc cessful. Crystal bowls filled with flatntv flowers, and candlesticks holding bine tapers added beautv to the lace cloth that covered the lunch eon table. Scores for the year had heen kept and at the close of brldre which followed the luncheon hour these scores were announced.
