In addition to the civil liability the employer would be guilty of a misdemeanor for each day he op erates before the written notice is given. DeCamp, San Francisco, service club operator, are made in a suit filed there in federal court recently against the Insurance Se curity Funding corporation. F. D. Jones, local representative of the Oregon Motor association, receiv ed word of the suit yesterday. De Camp's representatives operated recently in Salem, Jones said. It i salleged in the suit that De Camp attempted to bolster the fi nances of the Security firm and the automobile association by is suing $120,000 in fictitious cred its for the purpose of concealing the insolvency of the defendant. The recommendation is made on. the grounds that tourists are not now able to find parking room la the business section, and that a similar plan adopted in other cities has been' successful. The Lions members suggest for such an area the district south of Court street between High and Church and the north side of State Dei wees iiigh ana .church.
