July 21 When Louie, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Bender ot near Jordan, tried to make friends with a hire of bees near his home, the bees re garded his amiable Intentions by stinging the child In nearly 40 places, - The boy was eonfined to his bed for a day. A rattlesnake was killed Mon day near Jordan. A group of children was playing near a saw mill when the snake was disco ered. Clyde Rogers and Van Han dle killed It C. E.
