Cuthbert, and Clarence Crocker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jo seph Crocker, were married Thursday In Cloverdale, Tilla mook county, with Rev. Fred Reusser, pastor of the .Baptist church there, officiating. The bride and groom were ac companied to Clorerdale by Miss Celesta Cuthbert, Wllber Crock er and Richard Pepworth of Sa lem. A o'clock breakfast was served at the Cuthbert' home to the members of both families and Mr. Pepworth. The bridal party motored to Cloverdale for the ceremony and returned to the Crocker farm west of Indepen dence about 12:30 for dinner at which the Cuthbert family, Mr, and Mrs. Cuthbert, Celesta, Ruth Frances. Elmer and Jimmle, the bride and groom, Mr. Pepworth, Wilber Crocker and the hosts Mr and Mrs. Crocker were present After dinner the newly-weds left for Santa Rosa, Cal. where Mr Crocker will be employed for the summer. The bride was lovely in a Bhell colored net lace frock over silk. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and rose buds. Mrs. Crocker graduated with her class of the Independence high school Wednesday night. Mr. Crocker, graduate of O. N. S. was a teacher in the Hoskins school, the past year. He will have charge of a school near Aurora, this coming year. A group of pupils of Lena May Dotson were presented in recital at the Woman's clubhouse recent ly. The first half of the program was a playlet with story book characters. Duets and trios were leasing features. Those presented were Virginia Tomklns, Barbara Collier.
