They: asked her what was in the front part of the bnlldint and she told them bnt they did net enter that part at all. They told her they would not harm her, bat rot ner to be quiet, she asked why they had come there and they said they thought the banker lived there. They said when they had fla ished robbing the bank they would come and pay her for the window and key which they had broken in entering her house. They went to the machine shop of a section crew and stole tools. a sledge hammer, and a crowbar to work with. They then left her homo and went to the bank and entered through the back door. From all appearances, they were ready to start to work, when someone or something must have frightened them away as they left. leaving all or some of their things, an acetylene burning torch and pressure tank on the Inside and a new hose and a boiler with some wire in it outside.
