Miss Oma Belle Emmons, the

Irvine, 4-H cooking club leader
who was presented with a lOTeiy
Angel Food cake by her class ot
upper grade girls; the girls also
served the mothers with light re
freshments.
At the conclusion of the pro
gram on the lawn, members of the
local Parent-Teacher association
met In the auditorium for the
final meeting of the year. '
Mrs. George Cohrs was unanl
mously elected president for the
coming year to fill the place vacat
ed by the resignation of Mrs. El
mer Busby.

tra and also by members of Miss
Vera Johnson's Folk Dancing
class.'

officers, Mrs. Cohrs, Mrs. Henry
Oberson, second vice president.
Miss Mary Donaldson, secretary,
and Miss Lela Howe, treasurer,
Mrs. Henry G. Hanson, the first
vice president was absent.

thing. Seven large painting's by
the children showed the progress
made In boats since the time of
the Indians' dug out to the modern
steamer.

KKIZER, May 25 Fire which

bulb In the Ward C Russell green
house Friday destroyed a number
of baby chicks and a Quantity of
