The forepart of the program will' be given by students 6f the state school for the blind, with Gladys Follis directing music. Plans are being made by the Dallas Chris tian church to observe the 78th anniversary of the beginning of the Christian church in Dallas May 15. Mrs. Harry Butz and Eu gene Hayter have been appointed as historians to get together all available facts regarding the ear ly days of the church. Many of the early records have been lost but available' records place the -beginning of the church at 76 years ago. As no definite day f6r the be ginning can be found, the official board of the church set May 15 as the date for the anniversary. This was done as that day is also Pentecost, the 1902d anniversary of the beginning of the Church of Christ in Jerusalem. Sunday Services Mother's day will be observed in all of the services of the church Sunday. The men's Ninety and Nine class has planned a program of special Mother's day music and readings. This class meets in the club room of the library at 9:45 Sunday mornings At the morning church service Harold Witcraft will sing "Little Mother of Mine" by H. L. Bur leigh. Mrs. Robert Fisher will play a violin solo, "Pale Hands" by Sinden. The sermon will be from the topic "Thy Father and Thy Mother." At the evening church service at 8 o'clock Mr. Burke will speak on the topic. "Signs of Degen eracy," and Gilbert Witcraft will sing. Miss Ulrich is a senior In Wil lamette university and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha sorority. She is also a member of the Colle gian staff and of the Treble Clef club. Mr. Cushing is president of the Sigma Tau fraternity and an active member of the student body and campus. No definite date has been set for the wedding. May 10, with Centralia Temple No. 11 of Salem hostess.
