I "The Finishing Fire" 4-H sewing I club division II, having completed their projects 100 per cent held an attractive Achlerement day program and sewing exhibit in ; the domestic science room of the training school Tuesday after noon. The affair was supervised by Mrs. Claud Skinner, the club leader who has taught sewing tn the school for years. The sewing was Judged by Mrs. Fern Wheel er, domestic science Instructor in the Independence high school, Miss Mary Donaldson and Mrs. Elsie Bolt, both training school I critic-teachers. Lenore Frederickson won first prize. Jean Ellen Irvine, second. and Marie Williams, third. The program was followed by tea and cookies served by the girls and Mrs. Skinner to the mothers of the members, high school and training school teach ers and Prof. D. R. Dewey of the Normal school at Monmouth.
