late the prertous week, uttered a
loud roar yesterday and crashed
recklessly down fly straight
points oa white. - Both red and
white are quoted locally at St
cents. That, is buying price. The

and a cent higher-on white.
Slackening in. export Inquiry,
manipulations at Chicago, and
failure of Urerpool to follow the
American, lead of earlier 1st tha

to the whirling downfall.
While the 62 cent quotation
was in force, yesterday at the
regular' soarce of grain quota
tlons for this paper, a higher fig
ure, around IS cents, was belngi
quoted to growers by at least
two' other buyers here. The high
er quotation apparently Indicates
a purely local demand to fulfill
southern Oregon supplies, while
the lower figure follows the
world market.
Hogs went up II cents oa the
hundred, to a new top ot $1.25.
Dressed hogs are up a half cent
oyer late last week, to new top
of m eents. Dressed veal is up
a cent, to new top of 10 eents. .
