the most enjoyable evenings of
the season was held Saturday
evening at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. W. C. Pettyjohn. The occa
sion waa the annual banquet giv
en by the O. T. club for their hus
bands. A profusion of chrysanthe
mum autumn leaves and greenery
were used In decorating the
rooms. Mrs. W. C. Pettyjohn act
ed as toastmistress.
After the banquet the evening
waa spent In playing a number of
games and conversation and ail
joined in singing of "God Be With
Tou Till We Meet Again." just
before the guests departed.
The O. T. club Is unique In that
It has had but one president, Mrs.
Alice Coolidge, sine it was or
ganised about If years ago. Un
til this year tbe same secretary,
Mrs. H. B. Carpenter, has served,
but owing to other work it was
necessary for her to resign.
