Of Kansas CUy, national secre tary of the Nasarene Young; Peo ple's society, is to come to Salem for a three . weeks' evangelistic campaign.- Rer. Corlett was one of the speakers for the dedica tion of the new building. . Beginning this Sunday there wilL be a special musical feature every Sunday night. The , first will be the musical Frlesens, the John Friesen family who will sing several numbers. Rev. School Head Holds Kiddies Despite Heat AURORA, Aug. 29. The Pres byterian Sunday school has been keeping up a liieiy interest and attendance throughout the sum mer months, largely, because the superintendent, Mrs. E- C. DI1 ler, has introduced many inno vations to intrigue the Interest of the pupils. The surprise which had been promised was recently disclosed, when the doors to the primary room were thrown open. There to delight the heart of any child was a sand box where a dozen or jnore small children could build a picture to illustrate the lesson of the day. Upon-lae following Sunday a low study table and tiny benches were placed as a surprise to Miss Tlllie Fry for her class. Miss Fry has been the beloved primary teacher to nearly every child in j Aurora for the, last decade. . ,,; Smiths Will Make Grants Pass Home AURORA, Aug. 29. Marcus Smith Jr. and family left. Thurs day . morning for Grants Pass where they will make! their fu ture home. Smith who was for mally associated with the Molal la Electric Co., has purchased an electric supply store at that place. Little Miss Carma Ottoway is ' having a wonderful vacation. Aft er spending two weeks with her grandmother and aunt at Silver ton, she went down to Clatskanle to be the guest of friends there for some time. Kelly and Coles Visit Albany Home PLEASANT VIEW, Aug. 29. K. M. Kelly of Stayton, M. F. Cole an4 daughter Zona were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Kenegy of Albany. Mrs. Rollie Ramp, M. F. Cole and Miss Zona Cole spent Tuesday with Mrs. Cole's mother, Amanda piummer of Sclo. . Mrs. Frank Weddle and daugh ter Helena of Jefferson visited Wednesday at the home of M. F. Cole.
