David son of Eugene, Oregon are the only two sons of Sarah and Henry Davidson that are living today. Mrs. Emma McMurry la the only cnua that survives Mr. and Mrs. John B. Murphy. . Both, families emphasised the celebration of tha 76 th anniver sary of tha founding of the Chris tian church. - at Monmouth. Ore gon. John B. Murphy founded the eaurea and. was its first pastor. To this onion were born two daugh ters, only one ot whom i living. Mrs. Bertha Early at. Garibaldi. They hare four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.. . Mr. and Mrs. Dixon came west in 1S0S and settled at Enumelaw, Wn., where they lived for five years. Then they moved to Rose burg and then came to Mehama in 1S17. Neighbors and friends gathered at their home Friday evening, bringing baskets well filled with lunch. Just before the plcnle dinner Mr. land Mrs. Dixon stood up be fore their 12 (.guests and were united in mock wedding by Jus tice ot peace, William P. Mul key, Lunch was spread on a long ta ble beneath the shade trees, aft er which Mr. and Mrs. Dixon were presented . with some attractive gifts.
