A wrestling bout here tonight
between Dick Daviscourt and
GIno Garibaldi was brought to a
sudden end when a spectator
rushed Into the ring and knocked
Daviscourt unconscious with a
blow on the jaw. i
The wrestlers had been in the
ring about 20 minutes and Davis
court, a Callfornlan, had a stran
gle hold on his Italian opponent
at the time of. the attack- The
assailant . was arrested and
charged with disorderly conduct.

Taylor who has been seriously ill
at his home for some time has
been removed to the Salem Gener
al hospital. .
Mr. Taylor, known to his many
friends as "Bill" Is not only one
of the best known men in Marion
county but knows his Marion
county as well it not better than
any man in the county.
He has spent his lite here and
been interested in all the devel
opments of the county and state.
He has worked faithfully for the
state fair and has had charge ot
the Marlon county exhibit for
about 25 years and has been coun
