died at the Home of her stn, C. H.
Stephen, here late Sunday, after
being 111 for; several weeks. -,
, She was born at Elliott's Cross
Roads, Morgan county, Ohio, Aug
ust 1, 1160, and was married In
1171 Mrs. Stephen later moved
to Beaver City, Nsb., where she
and her . husband . rasided until
September, 1902, when they came
to Oregon and located near Amity.
Surviving are six children. They
are'L. H. Stephen, Portland; Mrs.
F. Hardin, Beaver City, Neb.; Et
fie Fltsgerald, Amity; Mrs. Cora
E. Haaton. Hillsboro; C. H. 4tnd
P. L, Stephen, both of Salem. She
also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lottie
Andrews of Roseburg, 19 grand
children "and seven great-grandchildren.'
