Annual State Conference
Of Evangelical Churches
Will be in New Structure
Few church conferences have the privilege of helpinsr
to dedicate a beautiful new temple of worship, but that will
be one of the -enjoyable features of the Oregon conference
of Evangelical j churches, which opens here Wednesday,
April 16. and extends through Sunday, April 19. Already
nearly 10 registrations for the
conference have come in.
The new Evangelical church
structure at Summer and Mar
lon streets will be occupied for
the first time tomorrow, which
means that It will be literally
but a few days old when Evan
gelical pastors and lay delegates
from all over tbe state gather
here for the annual session. Pas
tors will open sessions prelimin
ary, to the main conference Tues
day night.
