lighted for miles around Friday
evening by, the burning of the
Smith homo en the penitentiary
road. : The. building was owned by

bf the Smith family. 1
The family was all away at the
time-and ' the flames had rained
such' "headway, by the time It was
seen' bv a nassinr motorist that
nothing of any value was saved.
