Ore.. Jan. 28 En- gene Manning has Just received word tbat hit only brother. Grant Manning, had died on Christmas day at his home in Eureka, Cali fornia, where be had lired tor the past 25 or 30 years. , i Grant Manning was born on the Manniny farm between Gerrals and BrooffM and lired hero for several years before going to Eu reka. He was one of a family of fire children, three girls and two boys. One child, a daughter, was born to this union, dleing waea she waa about 10 years, old. Mrs. Manning died about 20 years ago. Eight 'years ago he was again married and the widow and bro ther are the only immediate sur viving relatives. Old timers around here and Brooks will re member the deceased. He was prominent in Masonic circles! In Eureka, where he waa burled un der the Masonic rites, on Sunday, December 28. 1939, in Myrtle Grove cemetery. - SILVER1I COUPLE 60 TO Hill SIL.VEKTON. Jan. 27.
