S. P. charges. As a result from SO to SO checks, issued without sufficient funds, finds their way to Salem banks each Monday morning af ter a busy Saturday while a num ber of similar checks filter to the banks throughout the week. Salem merchants are especially invited to the meeting today as Sweenes is expected to outline a means by which the 'N. S. P. nuir sance can be curbed . or. largely eliminated in Salem.'
