' . : rs rs I v I Week's Sermonette Life --Eternal Life By EDGAR P. SIMS (Pastor Highland Friends Church) "In Him was LIFE " records witnesses Jesus Christ of Himself. How precious that Lifs Eter nal Life is manifest for all who wills to believe In Him. Without form or ceremony; without money and without price, we may come. . : As He "went about doing good" He constantly manifested; His power and authority. Loosing from bondage that daughter of Abraham; ."whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years," and she was made straight, and glorified God," manifesting Hia powr tQ gtvf freedom to souls in bondage. When He declared "that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, He gave as a sign of His authority, the helpless paralytic arising from the bed on which he had been "borne of four,"-car-rylng it to his own house. In supreme, majestic dignity, yet' without spectacular demon stration, He stands before the tomb of one "dead four days," and speaking in tones of Divine authority, restoring to life the brother . of Martha and Mary, proving; that "I am the resurrection, and the LIFE." Again and again during His earthly ministry. He gave evidence that LIFE was in Him. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forver." In love' and mercy He calls, "if any man will come," in many are His words fulfilled, ye would not come to Me. that ye might have LIFE." But he who comes bellevingly shall find LIFE in Him and shall KNOW that he has passed from death unto LIFE.
