Charles Gill. who Is a versatile swimmer. Gill is a senior In the. physical educa tion department and has been employed by the American Red Cross to teach life saving work. He works in conjunction to the V. M. C. A. Bwimtmns program. Gill estimates that he has taught 2500 people to swim. 300 to obtain life saver's reconl tions. and 50 to win first aid honors. During the past summer he conducted these clashes in Washington, Idaho and Ctah. In Idaho Falls, durlug one week, he had a registration of 1200 per sons; hence he was foiyed to stay three weeks. Idaho is doing more to teach people to swim than any other state in the union.
