Mule Offers Annual Show SILVERTON. Oct. 1 Silver ton folk, passing on McClaine street Monday night, stopped to investigate what other Silverton folk were watching and very soon quite a good sized crowd was gathered. The excitement wai caused by one of Jim Verrier'i mules, which seem i ugly puts oa an annual show, not with the con sent of his master, at this time of the year. The . mule lay down and refused to get up in spite ot the considerable coaxing done by Mr. Vearler, Whether or not this occurs oftener than annuallyl not definitely known but It is known that last year at about the same time the same mule af forded the same sort of entertain ment and that some of the same people watched the "show" both times VERTICAL 1 depart suddenly X negative .
