Thomas Shannon who died
Wednesday, at a Salem hospital
after a short Illness had been em
ployed for the past year by S. L.
Burke and son proprietors ot the
Riverside auto camp. Mrs. Shan
non is still at the camp ground
and is undecided as to plana for
the future. Mr. Shannon is sur
vived by a brother la Detroit,
Mich., and one in Canada.

nace installed in his basement and

Relnhart Roseland, who lives in
south Silverton, is reported as be
ing critically ill at her home. Mrs.
Roselind, who is 85, has been
confined to her bed tpr three
weeks.
C. L. Bonney, an employe at the
Silver Falls Timber company mill,
has leased the homo of Mrs. Olga
Hoftard on Jersey street and la
having his household furniture
shipped here from Chicago. Mrs.
Bonney will also arrive at Silver
ton in the near future.

ready disposed of his hops. Ole

ed from 8 acres, to Portland this
