Miss Wood is s graduate ot Oregon Normal school In the class ot '25 and the University of Oregon with the elass ot '29. In both schools she took an ac tive part in all school activities. In the University of Oregon she was a memoer or me Honorary societies ot Philomelete, and Phi Theta Upsilon. For the past year Miss Wood has been pri vate secretary to President Lan ders ot the Oregon Normal school. Many social affairs were given tor her in Monmouth he- fore her departure for her home In Bend. Mr. Robins Is a graduate of Willamette university ot the class ot '23, and has taken work on his master's degree In Stan ford where he and Mrs. Robins will be this coming year and where he will continue his ad vanced study. Investigators said an outstand ing piece of evidence came from Mrs. Mary A. Worsler. 62, criti cizing Wigfall's legal ethics. She asserted Wigfall tampered with a lease on her property, and in dicated her threats to expose him led to self destruction. Mrs. Worsler said she named Wigfall beneficiary la a $5,000 Insurance policy because "be told mo X re minded him of his mother." Two insurance policies f for $75,000, one dated August 11, were discovered in Wigfall's fects. They named Mrs. McC re die, bis law partner's wife, as leneficiary. One wiU, held by Judge McCredie, who refused its contents, police said, willed Wig fall's bead to a medical school and bequeathed $1,000 each to two women, one Miss Ruth Whit field, Vancouver high school dean of girls. Another will bequeathed money and property ta various women, although Judge McCredie with whom Wigfall lived, said the estate was "Imaginary." Double S.&H.
