Again the class of 1933 has come out victor ious in the county spelling contest. The representatives of this class have always brought home at least a certificate. Satchwell, on the flute, and Miss Eugenia Russell at the piano. FreakTiree Found Near Selah Area CENTRAL HOWELL, May 1. Thre is a tree on Reuben Eggi man's place near Selah Springs which is an odd freak of nature. At the base of this tree is an outcropping of roots which forms a sort of edge to feet in circum ference and about two feet high. Out of the middle of this clump grows a maple tree or what looks like four maple trees as there are four main trunks extending up from these roots. -At a height of 10 feet a fir tree emerges from the trunks of themaple and stands straight and tall, possibly 60 feet, while the four maples spread out a little surrounding the lower part of the fir.
