quent nervous changes today tn wheat
values here ended with something of
a setback all around. Weakness of
wheat prices st Winnipeg during much
of the day had a bearish effect, as
possibly pointing to likelihood that
Canada might get a preference in
North American export business.
On the other hand, more or less
buying took place as a result of as
sertions that the federal farm board
would authorize Its Rllied cooperative
organizations to deal la wheat fu
tures, if so desired.
Closing quotations on wheat were
unsettled. l-8c to 3-8c a bushel lower
than Saturday's finish. Corn closed
