LIBERTY SCHOOL GOING STRONG School Now Has Enrollment Of 15&and Five Teachi -X trs Employed LIBERTY, October 31.- T h e Liberty school has a much- larger enrollment this year than It has had In any previous years. At present there are 156 pupils en rolled, The enrollment has been somewhat Increased by the con solidation with Rosedalei How ever, there has been a large num ber of new families moved into the neighborhood, and this has greatly increased the school en rollment. The congested condition of the school has necessitatde the em- to relieve the primary room. There are two other new teach ers at Liberty this year; Frank Ingham, the new principal, who "lias charge of the seventh and eighth, grades, and Mrs. Emily Van- Santen who has charge of the first grade. The other two teach ers were at Liberty last year and re: Mrs. Jessie Rains, who has the third and fourth grades and Mrs. Clara H. Rees who has the fifth and sixth grades. They have not yet selected a name but hare elected the fol lowing officers: President, Florence Cppley; vice-president, Alice Cunningham; secretary, Lester Browning. The president has appointed the- lonowing committees: " Committee for name, Rosa Kitt son, Lucille Brundidge, Opal Baldwin. - Program committee, Howard Raynor, Paul Burger. Alice Cun ningham. Constitution committee, Lester Browning, Fred Murhammer and Elbert Jone3. The pupils In Mrs. Van Santen' room are publishing a ltitie news paper which is Terv interesting. This paper will be published once a month. The Liberty school has a fine new flag which was oresented bv John Dasch, a member of the school board. The dudIIs and teachers are Tory grateful to Mr. uasch for his generosity. The. school board has done much to put the school In first class condition. Before school be gan they had the entire building, thoroughly cleaned, so that when the pupils and teachers returned they were greeted with a spotless ly ciean building.
