This society was organized late last spring through the efforts of several Salem women and Susie Fennel! Pipes of Portland. There i ' -' are like societies in Portland; Corrallis, Eugene, Albany, Rose- burg and Medford. The number of . subscriptions which represent membership will be limited to about 200 in Salem. The work of getting subscription has been fin Ished in Corvallls, and Albany. and is last approaching a finish in each of the other towns.
