II MARKET ISSUE WASHINGTON, Aug. 30 f AP) Suggestions for aiding growers of small beans, anions them one that a separate stabilization cor poration be set up to maintain a "reasonable" price to the farmer, were taken under advisement to day by the federal farm board. The board announced, after a committee of Michigan state offi cials and growers appeared, that it had been advised of various prob lems affecting the marketing of the product. Peter Lennon, state sen ator and farmer, of Lennon, Mkh igan, said he had suggested a sta bilization corporation which wouM prevent price-breaking. "With $50,000,000. such a cor poration could buy all the beans produced in the country, at $5 a bushel," Lenndn said, "and with its assistance the farmer couid combat price-breaking." The Michigan committee, head ed by H. E. Powell, commissioner of agriculture, told the board that about 60 per cent of the white navy beans produced in the Unilt-d States were grown In Michigan. He said this year's crop almct cut in half by drought will cot exceed 5,090,000 bushel. PORTLANDER IS NOT ALLOWED FISH TRAP Recent claims totaling $1315. 70 have been paid to holders of Oregon Statesman, North Amer ican Accident Insurance Co., policies. ASTORIA, Ore.. Aug. 30. A temporary Injunction enjoiniog John O. Baker, Portland, from erecting a fish trap in the Colum bia river from the north shore of Tenasillihee island was issued in circuit court here today. The or der also restrains the Oregon Fisb commission and Warden M. T. Hoy from issuing any fish trr.p licenses for this locality. I The injunction was issued fol lowing the filing of a complaint ly Thomas Thompson and five othtr Columbia river fishermen, charg ing that a trap license for the Ten asillihee island location had befn issued to Baker by the fish com mission in violation of the Oregon, laws regarding the establishmert of this type of fishing gear on tee Columbia river. The complaint also recited thst the erection of traps in this local ity would violate "prior rights" of gillnet fishermen as defined by law. The complaint asks that the injunction be made permanent and that the license issued to Bafctr be cancelled." AIX-LES-BAINS. France (AP) "Bobby," a fox terrier.
