Circuit Court
Not to be Held
During Summer
To afford Circuit Judge Kelly a
much needed vacation, lawyers of
Salem were busy Thursday trying
to line up their cases so no term of
circuit court needs to be held dur
ing the summer months. A fairly
light docket was in sight for the
month and the judge had agreed
to come the last week in the month
to put the cases up to trial but
when he arrives he may find no
cases at issue. It has been the
custom for bench and bar alike to
consider the month of August one
for vacation.
