Yarns made their first appear
ance on the market here this week
and sell at four pounds for 25
rents, as also do sweet potatoes.
Sweet -potatoes are quite scarce,

continue to hang on, at five for
25 cents or thereabouts. Most of
the larger spuash offered now to
Grapefruit has been cheap this
week, but the price will not remain
it this level for long, grocers re
port. The Arizona crop is practi
cally cleaned up, and selling at
me lowest prices of the season.
A better grade of fruit Is ar
riving from Florida to supplant
the scabby grapefruit that has
been offered for several weeks.
