Valuable Collection at Will
amette Classified and
Arranged
For several weeks Prof. Herman
Clark of Willamette university has
been at work arranging, classify
ing and cataloguing the specimens
In the Willamette museum. The
specimens were moved to a large
room on the second floor of the
gymnasium building more than a
year ago, and the work of makine
an orderly arrangement of them
has been prodigious. a
Two large rases contain birds
and reptiles of Central America.
Thase specimens were made by
Professor Morton E. Peck of the
biology department on an expedi
tion several years p.c. All the-
specimens are in foot' condlticr

' We have a iotof good stuff
here" said Professor Clark In
6howing it. "but It can't be of a
great deal of use until it can be
shown in an orderly way." Inad
dition to being cramped for time
to work on the collection, Profes
or Clark is hampered by lack of
adequate showcases in which to
arrange and exhibit the specimens.
