BINGHAM, Owner. - Following a report of the in vestigating committee, the, senior high school student council, Tues day morning voted to levy a $1.50 fine against each high school stu dent known to have participated in the mud-slinging episode at the Olinger athletic field last Wednes day night when boys guarding the bonfhe amused themselves by slinging mud at a lantern hanging on the north gate, with the results that the north end of the new grandstand was - plastered with mud. paint knocked off and other damage done. The student council has had the matter under investigation since it happened and examined about 20 boys who guarded the fire, but action' was deferred until they could confer with H. F. Durham, principal of the Parrish junior high school who has been ill and just returned to the office Mon day. A number of Parrish boys are, said to have been involved in the affair, but the high school council can take no action against them. The grandstand had not been turned over to the school board by the contractors when the affair occurred, thereby lending a more serious aspect to the depredations. Principal J. C.
