(AP)- Alma Reubens, film star, .waa accused of being "extremely intoxicated and with using pro fane and abusive language in an affidavit filed in the city prosecu tor's office Wednesday and which Mrs. W. H. Schoelwer, of Beverly Hills, obtained a complaint charg fng Miss Reubens' ngro maid, Edna Clayton, with battery. The latter was accused of seizing Mrs Schoelwer by the throat and beat ing her in the face with her fist during an argument of the three women over the collision of their automobiles. In her affidavit, which was sign ed also by Mrs. W. G. Swenon, friend of Mrs. Schoelwer. the lat ter declared the argument and battery occurred In front of the Tech-Art motion picture studio ini Hollywood on November 8. The attack, the affidavit stated, occur red after Miss Reubens' car occu pied by the negro maid and a chauffeur, collided with the plain tiff's car. which was parked at the curb. Later. Mrs. Schoelwer stated In her affidavit. Miss Reubens came out of the film studio, "ex tremely intoxicated" and told her the maid "only done what she should have done. We're all God's children. There is no creed or col or." "Hanging onto the side of my ear," the affidavit continued, "and smoking a cigarette, the film star said 'come in and see Harry Schenck. You're not going to get away until this thing is straight ened out."
