West Salem News By Helen H. Rodolf Phone 2402J Dances Resumed At Mellow Moon The Mellow Moon dance pavil ion, beautifully located on the Willamette river, is now having three dances a week. On Wednes day and Saturday nights are the regular dances with a peppy or chestra playing the latest pieces. On Friday night is the old fash ioned dance -with the stringed orchestra playing the older tunes. Boy Hit By Auto Getting Better Little Wallace Magee. Jr., who was hit by a ear on the Fourth of July is now getting about on his crutches. West Salem is glad to see the five-year-old, red-haired youngster about again for he is a Jovial fellow. The exact amount of injury to his leg cannot be learnr ed for some time yet, but the bone has knit alright. Mrs. Simon Pfiefauf returned some time ago from Twin Falls, Idaho, where she was called by the serious illness of her daugh ter, Mrs. Theresa Hanks.
