Query near Rob erts, the occasion being their 14th wedding anniversary. Dancing was the diversion of the evening. Refreshments were served at a late hour in the din ing room which was attractively decorated with gladioli and zin nias. Of Society T Miss Laura Heist Returning to India Miss Laura Heist who has spent several months in Salem with her sisters, the Misses Lina and Lulu Heist -and Mrs. W. W. Emmons, has received a wire asking her to return to India September 21. Miss Heist wil sail from Seattle on the S. S. President Pierce and will stop In Japan for a short time enroute. At Seaside Beach After spending a fortnight at Seaside, Mrs. Harry W. Scott and Mrs. Lloyd Lee and their children will return today to their homes In Salem. C Meets at State Fairgrounds The regular meeting of the Aid Society of the Woman's Relief Corps was held Thursday at the fairgrounds, with 29 members in attendance. . Mrs. Lottis is a graduate of Salem High school and of Oregon State Normal school. For the past two years she has taught at Sun nyside, Oregon.
