THE New Oregon Statesman now has an advertising
department which is equipped to give the merchants
free copy and lay-out service. It is one of the few papers
in the State which has an advertising department with
agency service. Our advertising men have had much ex
perience in the advertising profession, one of them is de
voting practically all of his time to planning campaigns,
writing copy and making lay-outs.
PLACING your advertising with us means that you will
receive individual attention. Each advertisement is
checked carefully to see that each phrase is correct and
that there are no words mispelled. Then, too, your copy
is marked to give the composing man instructions to set-up
the ad typographically attractive. You will also have the

This 4-page section is a pertinent value to the woman, in
that it contains household hints and a variety of rnenus
for the family, and other features that are of interest. One

cial Realm; Woman's World Reviewed."
