(AP) The mantle of bantamweight kins tonight fell about the shoulders of Bushy Graham, fleet little phantom from Utica, N. They were sparring on even terms as the round ended. Graham staggered the little corporal with a solid right smash to the chin in the second -round. Izxy turned the tide a bit just be fore the bell with several left jabs to the bantam's face. Graham made as if to finish the job in the third, hooking his left to Iny's chin. The little fly weight tore right back at Graham and chased . him across the ring. They boxed rapidly but neither seemed to carry a ' damaging punch. The fourth was deroted to fancy sparring and jabbing. Both boys were last but neither was dam aging the other. The fifth was the same, bat Graham landed one solid right to the body after Schwartz had clipped Bushy with a stinging right to the chin. They were sparring at the bell. After a clinch In the sixth Gra ham landed two overhand rights to the head but took a hard right uppercut in return. Graham land ed a sharp right to the head and they wrestled until the bell. Graham drove Schwartx to the ropes as the seventh began but Iisy retaliated with a fast rail. The flyweight worked so rapidly that he slipped at the bell bat was up before the sound died away. Tonight the situation was reversed exactly, for the spunky little corporal made 111 pounds, less than the weight, of his division, while Gra ham toted 118. It was the old, old ring story of a good little man giving pounds to a good bigger man, and falling by the wayside when he did so. Izzy, a gallant little figure, holding his own most of the way through the first ten rounds, tired rapidly af ter the tenth stcalon. In the fourteenth. Graham floored him for a count of nine with a volley of left and right smashes to the chin. Schwartz just managed to keep his feet under a solid ham menng through the final three minutes. Through the first ten rounds there was little to choose between the tiny warriors. Izzy boxed on even terms with his dancing rival; shot enough lefts to the head aed right coun ters to the chin, to win the third. seventh and eighth rounds. The fourth and ninth were even, but the rest merely oiled ud to con tribute to Bushy's margin until'lie' made it decisive with that clean cut knockdown in the fourteenth round. - BEBCLUBLS SECOLD Iflffl TILT SEATTLE. They kept up their exnlbition of mas ter boxing through the tenth as the crowd yelled. The ghost chased the phantom all through the eleventh but Gra ham had the better of the clinch es where his superior weight told on little Schwartz. Bushy fell through the ropes, half way out of the ring, as he missed a terrific left In the twelfth. Schwartz stood politely while Graham disentangled him- jeu ana tne sparring was on igain. Blood was on Izzy's eye and on his nose as he tore into Graham in the thirteenth. They exchanged wild swings in the .center. Izzy tired rapidly and Bushy pounded him.
