Rex Sanford Entertains in Honor of House Guest From Seattle ' A delightful affair of the past eek was the five table bridge party for which Mrs. Rex Sanford was hostess Friday afternoon in her home on South 18th street, complimenting her house guest, Mrs. E. E. Brosius of Seattle. . Washington.. The living rooms and dining room were beautifully decorated with a variety of spring flowers columbine and phlox in pastel shades, and iris predominating. The high score prise as a re sult of the afternoon's play was won by Mrs. H. K. Stockwell. Mrs. H. V. Compton received the sec ond award. In the group were the honor guest, Mrs. Brosius, Mrs. C. W. Wlllard school of Eugene, was crowned health queen at an elab orate festival held at the Eugene armory Thursday evening. May 17, and participated in by more than 1300 school children. Sixteen children, one boy and one girl from each grade school building in Eugene were chosen from the BOO on the health honor roll to represent their respective schools and from these the king and queen were chosen. Little Miss Small is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Small of Eugene, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Roberts of Salem.
