ning, February 25, at Coquille,

The dinner will be serred at the
Coquille Hotel at seven o'clock and
a meeting of the executive board
will be held at six.

With Pre-Nuptial Affair .
Miss Thelma Johnson and Mrs.
Virgil Bursons entertained with an
attractive pre-nuptial affair In
honor of Miss Delia Mills one eve
ning recently at the Johnson home.
The earlier part of the evening
was spent with music and games,
followed by a mock wedding in
which Miss Irene Marr took the
part of the bride, Mrs. Alvln Marr
the groom; and Mrs. Virgil Bur
sons, the minister. Tho ceremony
was performed before an altar of
greenery and flowers. Miss Mills
was the recipient of many lovely
gifts.

An attractive affair of the past
week was the ahower given for
Mrs. E. P. Thorn's three weeks'
old son, Ernest Plerson Thom, Jr..
