And yet Salem starts the year 1928 with $118,650 building permits in January.
Contractors say there is already a big demand for homes an d plans for large buildings in Salem. Bridge building is
going right along and sewer Improvements.
There will be more blocks of streets paved In Salem this year than ever before. Also more blocks of sewers.
