around Salem. Start at the paper mill and
walk north on Commercial street. You will
find the business development extends pretty

Start on South Liberty street at Trade, where
within a year a bridge will extend across two
blocks to Bellevue street. Walk north from
the Traglio warehouse and the Northwest
Canning Company and keep on walking north
on Liberty street until you again reach Marion
street, at the Baptist church. Business is going
right ahead even north of the Baptistchurch.

where the Vick building is located. Then start
a walk straight north on High street, passing
Ferry, State, Court, Chemeketa, Center and
again on to Marion street. Here again you
