North Summer street A number of distinguished guests have been entertained already in -the attractive studio-residence of Professor and Mrs. T. S. Roberts, 505 North Summer street, a view of which is shown ahyve. In the company have been Marcel Dupres. the great French orgnnst; Royal Dadmun, the baritone solo ist; and the- late John McClellan, noted orpanis'L of Salt Lake City. This beautiful residence was opened in the autumn of i:2l' and since then has been the scene of many attractive social-gatherings and nmsicales. 1 . While the firv floor is devoted to aiithe need of a comfortable home, the second floor is one of the most admired musical suites in the state. Til nive second floor is given over to an ample music hall, pi.'iio room, library, and reception hall. The auditorium, a -pace of twenty-two bv forty four feet, has a cove ceiling, which makes the acoustics particularly good. The floor is of oak and the whole hall is admirable in every detail for reciu.ls and the many semi-public events of which it has bet-n the s.cene. Wi-th auxiliary rooms, the spue will seat approximately one hundred and fifty guests. For twenty-two years. Professor Roberts has been organist at the First Methodist church, and within a few weeks a new pipe organ will be- insla H.nl in "Professor Roberts' own home. The organ, which has been purchased from the Guentber com pany in Portland, with the console will be dis play in one of the downtown music store windows soim-timc this week.
