Federation of Business and Professional Wom en's Clubs conrention today faced a session expected to prove one of the liveliest of their meetings here. Only one election contest was booked, with Mrs. Elizabeth 'Bar nard of Tampa, Fla , and Miss ('. Louis Hoehringer of Yuma, Ariz., the "contestants' in a race for the office of second vice president. All the other officers were renom inated, and unless further nomin ations from the floor complicated the situation, were sure of unani mous election. - The federation yesterday named Judge Florence Allen of Cleveland, Ohio, as the pre-eminent profes sional woman of the United States, and voted her a two months' trip to Europe in recognition of her attainments. Judge Allen is the first woman supreme court judge. Mrs. Eda Browning Ruby of La fayette, Ind., was named the pre eminent business woman of the United States, and will be sent to Europe with Judge Allen.
