Another Development Seen According to information in re- iable sources, one delegate, not n American, used the word, "ser ious," at today's secret session in discussing the cruiser situation. Another significant development was an intimation emanating from American circles that the Ameri can delegate can seeilittle good in reaching an agreement at Geneva merely on destroyers and submar ines. The United States is singularly weak in cruiser strength, because of numerous antiquated ships, but reiauveiy strong m destroyers and submarines. Hence, it is pointed out, an accord confined to the lat ter categories would merely be de trimental to United States inter ests and leave wide open the TERWILLIGERS Perfect Fune-al Service For Less Licensed Lady Mortician 770 Chemeketa Street Telephone 724 PLUMBING Quick Reliable Service H.
