LIGHT ADJUSTMENT NOW MADE EASIER ( OoutiiiUr.i fr-um pag 1.) scores upon scores of minor, ac cidents that are due to such a cause is that they are so easily preventable. "At one time headlight adjust ment was difficult because head light equipment was imperfectly developed, some types being so Inefficient that adjustment was. virtually impossible. "Thi.s is not true today. Motor car manufacturers, lamp makers and the American Automobile As sociation, with which this elub is affiliated, have been cooperating for several years in an effort to solve the headlight problem. Old Stage Coach Still Running From Picadilly LONDON ( AP ) An old time stage coach, the "Old Berkeley," which set: out from Piccadilly on a daily trip to Hox Hill, a Surrey beauty spot, is a source of great interest to overseas visitors to London, who see in it a picture of England as it waa before the daya of railways. The coach is operated by two London home-lovers aa a hobby. Passengers book and pay for seats, but if the coa h were filled every day the sum received would not pay for the horses' forage and shoeing. (Biddy) Bishop CHlHi BIS START WITH CYCLE Foundation for Epochal Air Voyage Laid as Mail Car rier In 1914 .v Clarence D. Chanvberlin", '.the aviator whoe name is on the lips of the entire civilized world be cause of his daring in flying the Atlantic, laid the foundation for his epochal feat way back in 1014-1"-1C when he experimented with and methodically studied th? air cooled type motor in his motor cycle sale. and repair shop at Deni-?on, Iowa. It was while working for Uncle Sam as a mail carrier Chamberlin purchased his first motorcycle. This led to moire active interest in that type of transportation and he, subsequently, started a sales and repair station for the Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Becoming an enthusiastic mo torcyclist, it was not long lefore he had established a very prosper ous business and became one of the midwest's .most important motorcycle dealers. In 1917 the desire to roam a bit took possession of him and that year found Chamberlin piloting his motorcycle on an extensive trip to California. While there, he answered the nation's call to arms and joined the army balloon corps his first experience in the air. From that moment Chamberlin wras destined to become famous, for it was not long before he graduated from the balloon corps and entered the field of flying. His progress was rapid and he soon became known aa a depend able flier. Since the world war, Chamberlin h;s been engaged in commercial aviation.
