The earlier nart of the evening was spent with music and game, followed by ai very canning mock wedding staged by little Lucille Boebrineer acting as Miss Marr, and little Harold Johnson taking the part of the groom. The ceremony was per formed before ; a background of pink and green which was the color scheme used throughout the rooms Irene Marr, dressed as a minister, performed the 'ceremony. Little Miss Boehringer was at tractive in a white crepe- drees with a full length veil caught with orange . blossoms. She carried a corsage bouquet j of. pink' sweet peas. Miss Marr i waa made the icefpient of many lovely gifts. Her marriage to Mr. Johtn Wheeler will be an event of August 12.. Guests for the evening. included Mrs. Adin Blaktey, Mrs. Julia Blodgett. Spauldings Tour Mid Western States Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Spalding of Salem, route 7, left earfy Wednes day morning for an extended trip through the middle western states, among them Kansas, Illinois and Ohio, where they will visit rela tives and friends. While In Kan sas they will spend some time at Mr. Spalding's birthplace, which lit has not seen for 53, years. Mr. and Mrs. Spalding expect to be iiime until November 1st.
