' The seven Salem Canneries are
all going, strong yet; with the
eighth to start up on cucumbers
about July 7.
Also, Baker, Kelly, & McLaugh
lin are having .good receipts of
lcganberries, and a few black and
red raspberries, for their barrel
ing plant here. The raspberries
are nearly through.
The. Hunt cannery is running 12
hour on loganberries, with aftew
raspberries. JThey Unished up on
cherries yesterday. Fifllshed all
their contracts.
The Paul us cannery, still on
loganberries, will shut down in a
few days,! and turn their attention
to drying loganberries exclusive
ly, taking all that are fief t from
everywhere; all the fag endt, at
the regular price, 5 cents a pound.
