He insists that Rickenbacker was first to introduce all tlie "JfSSTJ refinements in automobiles since the war . ..and the lot, he says the Air Cleaner and Dilution Eliminator do more tto reduce upkeep cost and prolong the life of the engine than anything else that has been done since Otto built his first gas-engine. I have had my doubts as to the genuineness oi! these tiiinp Z Zl had my doubts about 4-wheel brakes when Rickenbacker came out with that improvement . . . that was three years ago. ' ---'' ----- "p? Bought a two-brake car just before that very maker changed to 4-wheel brakes. . . took a loss of sixty per cent in a yearjon that deal Didn't do much better next time . . . Bought a car with four brakoTT. but they didn't always act on four wheels at the same tune! . . . Haveabad habit, of grabbing, too . . .
