result of a prolonged illness and

made in the cemetery at Jamieson
Mr. Bridges was born oh April
26, 1855, near Salem. His early
boyhood was spent here. : In -1886
he was married to Addie Cart-
wright at The Dalles. About 25
years ago he came to Malheur
county, where he became a sue
cessful and respected stockman
For 33 years he was a member Of
the Fossil IOOF lodge. He Was
known by. his many friends here

splendid type of the old school.
